I really enjoyed reading about your trip. I am looking into doing one myself in the future....can you please tell how you got yourself and your bike from India to Thailand??? Thanks. - S
I flew from Calcutta to Bangkok with my bike. No problems. You should turn the handlebar and remove the pedals to make it easier to store. Keep your bike and bags light to avoid extra fees. You may want to check with your airline in advance.
